Needing Expert Advice

I am a quadriplegic and I am thinking of purchasing a pretty expensive adaptive controller called a quadstick for me to play games. The problem with the quadstick is it isn't compatible with older consoles because it requires a USB plug.
Now I should say Raspberry Pi and Retropie are a complete unknown to me, so I am hoping someone on the forum can help me figure out whether or not the quadtick should work with Retropie before I purchase it. I know the quadstick can emulate the Sony Dual Shock 3 controller and the XBox 360 wired controller, in addition to its own normal USB configuration. So I feel fairly confident that it will work from everything that I've read about Retropie and the quickstick, but I'd feel better with advice from people who are more knowledgeable in these areas.

Someone must have known this, and it works with debian linux probably will work in retropie. Good luck, I hope to have helped.

The QuadStick has a joystick, four sip & puff sensors and a lip position sensor, connected to a 32-bit ARM processor that converts the sensor inputs into USB and Bluetooth signals for PC's & Game consoles.
as long as the onboard controller outputs to usb, i would say it should work with retropie. but yeah, you'd rest easier getting an affirmative direct from QuadStick.

I did ask this through the contact link on the website and the response I received is: "It looks like Retro Pi runs Emulation Station, which claims to work with any controller. The quadstick can emulate the Sony Dual Shock 3 controller and the XBox 360 wired controller, in addition to its own normal USB configuration." Which is where I got some of the information for my initial post. As for the user group, I haven't posted this question to them, but I did search it for posts about Raspberry Pi/Retropie and it turned up nothing. So I wasn't sure if it had been something that had been tried or not. Thanks for your reply.
