    I have syscard3.pce but when I tried to load games in either Lr-Beetle PCE Fast or Supergraphix it just goes black and back to the menu. I can only find .iso files and converting them to Bin/Cue will load games, but produce an error in the bios.

    Do Iso files just not work in these emulators and I need to bend over backwards to find them as Bin/Cue?

    I'm at the point now where I'm thinking Rondo of Blood just ain't happening unless I unlock it in the PSP Chronicles.

      Unfortunately, I don't believe ISO files are supported. As you've also found out, converting an ISO to the BIN/CUE format will only work in the rarest of occasions. However, the BIN/CUE files for these games are out there, 'Rondo of Blood' included. I know it can be frustrating, but once you find a good source for them, it's likely that source will have everything you want moving forward.

        I got Rondo running right now.

        I hope ISO support is added in the future. Sources for good rips are getting harder and harder to find. Learned that with the Sega CD yesterday.

          The ISO format doesn't allow for some of the game elements to be accessed properly in many titles.

            That's funny. I could swear I've gotten iso files to work before with beetle-fast. They still require a proper .cue file to function, and can't be zipped.

              @Lyle_JP

              The ISO format doesn't make use of a cue sheet. Because of that and a few other format differences, they're really only useful for imaging unprotected, single track CDs and DVDs. You can convert between the two formats, but you'll always get data loss with anything more complicated than a single track disc.
