      Hello everybody,

I have an x-file with my Mame emulator. I am using Raspberry B+ with Retropie v4.0.2 (but same happened with Retropie 3) and two arcade Joysticks. Both Joysticks are configurated from EmulationStation and both work fine in all emulators except Mame4all.

For any reason that I cannot understand in Mame4all the second joystick doesn't work properly. I can get into configuration mode (TAB) and all the buttons from the joystick work but if I move the stick, it doesn't make any result. It is like it doesn't exist, but it works in the rest of emulators, even in the front-end.

If I use another Mame emulator, like for example Advance Mame, the second joystick works perfectly (even the stick).

Obviously, I can configure all my roms to use Advance Mame, but since I have a Raspberry 1 I have read the best one for my machine is Mame4all.

Any ideas how can I solve this situation?

Thank you in advance for your help.

@jmperez well... my suggestion is to try lr-mame4all and see if the performance is OK for you.

The lr-mame4all is a libretro and is easier to configure.

@meleu Thank you for your response. I will try that version.

Even though that solution can help me, I would like to know if anyone has experienced the same issue with the second joystick in Mame4all. There should be a lot of gamers using two arcade joysticks connected to a Raspberry.

It is like there is no driver for the second stick (remember that the buttons work fine) only in Mame4all, since it works perfectly in all emulators, including Advance Mame. It seems incredible, but I promise that's how it is.

          Thanks
