UAE4Arm not working with my Xbox wireless controller
-
I had issues with this emulator as well, go back to the 0.4 Binary and it should work, if you look on the GIT hub for that emulator you will see its been pointed out months ago to the developer.
-
@a7mag3ddon sorry for the silly question but how do I roll back to the 0.4 binary please?
-
Juat download the 0.4 version and over write the one on your PI in the emulators folder.
-
@a7mag3ddon so just download via windows and copy over via winscp?
-
yeah thats what i did
-
Hello,
Went to https://github.com/Chips-fr/uae4arm-rpi and downloaded uae4arm-rpi-master.zip from the top right corner, how do I know if this is version 0.4 or 0.5?
Thanks
-
@Shadowfax seems its been removed, here you go https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4272ME-kTRMbENHTmYyejV4dHc
copy into > /opt/retropie/emulators/uae4arm/
and over write the the one thats there
-
@a7mag3ddon thanks for the download, I have just renamed the current one to old and copied over yours and UAE4arm no longer runs, have I missed a step?
-
check your permissions on the file, compare with the old one if not sure, i usually do mine as 777
-
Permissions have helped thanks, but when I open then menu GUI is bigger that my monitor and I can't change it :)
Hopefully you can see from the image, by the way I have no idea why the screenshot is upside down here as it's fine on my onedrive site.
-
cant help with that im afraid, doesnt do that on mine and i use preconfigured .uae files with WHDLoad for my Amiga ECS and AGA games.
-
Right I have sorted the screen out (run command) and the controls now work on 0.4 so thanks.
What is strange though is UAE4Arm works on the Xbox analogue stick fine in all directions and the d-pad works but left doesn't work and I'm not sure where it get's this setting from. Any ideas?
