ROM Location issue in Arcade ROM Folder and AdvMame

Hi Folks, I'm having an odd issue where if the ROM is in the Arcade rom folder and I select Advmame for the rom rather than the default, the ROM doesn't play. But when I move it into the mame-advmame rom folder, it works. I'd rather this not be the case because I am moving some ROMS to their own custom folders so that I can theme them separately. Long story short, does anyone have any idea on why, or how to fix, the problem where using AdvMame requires the ROMS to be in the mame-advmame rom folder rather than being able to have them in the Arcade folder and selecting AdvMame to run the individual rom?

Which version of Advmame are you using in both instances?
