@Finhead for the help. I got Daphne installed this morning before work and just quickly tried to get it up and running. After placing a rom it didn't show up in my Retropie menu so I'll have to double check that I did this correctly.

BTW, Daphne runs Laser Disc not Sega CD, correct?

      Thanks

@Finhead the daphne downloader from the site you linked is a cracked torrent client

The regular daphne downloader from the windows based daphne emulator is not.

They are two very different things.

Like I say you have to setup your rom folder like it says in the Wiki. It's not your standard rom folder where you just dump it in the correct folder you need a structure for DAphne to read properly.
Here is a thread from a few days ago I helped Riverstorm with the same thing, all the answers you need should be

@Finhead I do appreciate all the help, but figuring out what files go where is proving to be a bit over my head.

I don't think the Steamgame will work, you need a actual physical disc. You would want to get the DVD box set, best way to get the 3 popular ones
If you would like, check my profile I believe it lists my email I can go through all this will you if your stuck.

@Finhead thanks! I looked, didn't see an email address. But ok, that helps clarify things. So I buy the DVD set and install daphne on my pc. Then through the daphne app on my pic I certify I own Dragons lair and it allows me to download the file... Then I install that file on Retropie. Does that sound correct?

It downloads a .bt file, is that the file that is used in the end?

I was rather confused about the approach.

Yes if you read the thread I linked on post #9 it shows where to find the files etc you need to move to your Pi and how to set it up properly.
