      retro pi 4 on raspberry pi 3

      I am completely new to this and this is my first raspberry pi project.

      I need some help. I may be just new but I was able to get retropi started and format my USB stick for ROMs, but I still cant play games. Retropi just starts and it says I have 13 games (just the basic stuff, setup, blu tooth, etc.). I literally cant do anything else besides go to the menu. What can I do?

        You'll want to read this first!
        https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

        I'm thinking you probably need to install some emulators:
        https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation#installing-additional-emulators--ports
        https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Updating-RetroPie#updatinginstalling-individual-packages

        If that doesn't work then you'll need to give us more information like: where are you putting your ROMs? Which video systems are these ROMs for? What walkthroughs did you follow?

        Here's a video showing you how to add ROMs:

            @ENG-Major You have to restart emulationstation for added ROMs to show up.

              You need to Install Samba/USB/Send over Rom's via Card. I personally like the samba share and use the IP of the machine to send over ROM's
              Log into your PC with the roms
              //IPADRESS/

              Go to the rom folder and copy and paste over the roms to correct location is it VERY Simple.

              You will not see any games unless you load over the roms, the guides above are perfect this gets asked so much.

              As you load the roms for each games they will show up after a reboot
