Hi everybody - I'm a newbie building my own arcade machine (which will run Retropie), but I have played MAME games before on a PC.

A game that I played a lot as a child was Virtua Striker 2, but I couldn't get it to work on PC with MAME.

Do you know if it's possible on Retropie, maybe with MAME og maybe on a different emulator? I would LOVE to play Virtua Striker 2 again.

Maybe I should say that I'm a total newbie, and don't know how to programme. But I hope there is some way even for a noob like me :-)

I would try the Dreamcast version perhaps. No way this will be playable on mame.

Thanks, sounds like Dreamcast could be the way to go. I'v just checked some youtube videos (played on the real Dreamcast), and it sure looks just like the arcade/MAME-version, so that is nice :-)

I have a Raspberry 3 by the way. Don't know if it is powerful enough to handle Virtua Striker 2 on Dreamcast, but I will try.

@SteffenMB Please let me know how it turns out. I tried it on my Pi 2 and it sure is playable besides some laggy sound issues. But I have considered to get me a Rpi 3 :)

@Brigane I'll do my best to remember! I'm not yet that far - I'm still reading about how to install everything, and hoping to read enough so that I don't screw thing up from the beginning :-)
