      Hi guys,

I’m brand new to Retropie so still learning the ropes but have managed to get almost all of my ROMs (Megadrive, SNES etc) working – apart from my Amiga games.

For some reason the Amiga emulator doesn’t appear at all. I’ve got some ADF’s in the amiga folder, and I’ve added a few different kickstart roms into the Bios folder, but still nothing.

Is there something critical I could be missing?

@guitarbloke You have to install it!

Hmm well I followed the guide and unpacked all of the emulators but still no Amiga option showing up in emulationstation .

I've definitely got the kickstart roms in the Bio folder and there are a few ADF's in the Amiga folder but I'm having no luck - is there something else needed?

@guitarbloke Which guide did you follow? I am not sure about the unpacking. I install extra emulators from the optional section of manage packages and it is all automatic. Where are your kickstart roms placed exactly? and are they named correctly as:

              kick13.rom kick20.rom kick31.rom

this wouldn't necessarily make the emulator appear, just checking.

@rbaker I followed the setup guide you linked above, seemed to work and it installed a whole lot of emulators - including uae4all - but despite having the kick-starts in /home/pi/RetroPie/Bios (named just as you suggest), and having working adf files in my Amiga folder, there is still no Amiga emulator listed in emulationstation.

Guessing that in my haste to get things working I've missed something stupid, but I can't figure out what 🤔

@guitarbloke Do you see the bash scripts in
                  /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga?

So: +Start UAE4All.sh which is 1k in size?

                  This file contains:

                  #!/bin/bash
                  pushd "/opt/retropie/emulators/uae4all"
                  ./uae4all
                  popd

                  on mine.

@rbaker Yep - mine is identical. How strange..!!

I tried removing uae4all and reinstalling it last night but that's had no effect either

@guitarbloke What emulators do you see on ES as you scroll through left to right?

@rbaker I've got Megadrive, SNES, NES, N64, PC Engine (and RetroPie settings).

That all ties in with the roms that I've put on the SD - those are the only consoles I've been using so far.

The only obvious missing one is Amiga :(

@guitarbloke Take a look at this alternative setup to recreate the Amiga:
