    Dears

    By whatever resolution I choice the screen retains black sides........
    How is possible to cover full screen using LCD native res., like 1280x720?

      The aspect ratio cannot be changed.

        Sorry to bump an old question but the resolution can be changed.

        Once the game has loaded go to game options and there should be an option for "Screen resolution" I have up'd this to 1920x1080 with no issues. If your running your retropie locked to a lower res eg. 720p or lower you'll need to select an appropriate resolution.

          @langy1987 resolution yes, aspect ratio no. Still black bars unless your TV has a stretch setting

            Might depend on what version of openttd too. On my ubuntu machine it seems to be ok on widescreen. I can't remember testing on the RPI, so it's possible I was guessing (based on what the OP said). Not sure.

              true but if you choose a resolution from the drop down that matches the aspect ratio of your TV (eg. 1920x1080) no black bars :D
