I followed the instructions for Selphs scraper and for some reason any rom with 3 letters in the title are not being recognized and the game images still don't get pulled over.

I did it from the sudo ./retropie_setup.sh screen
      I set gamelist to append
      I choose Genesis

Nothing comes up for games like X-Man and NBA Jam

Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Sselph's scraper doesn't search for names, but searches for the hashes (in effect the unique fingerprints) of roms.

@robertybob how are hashes found on roms? I noticed it still doesn't pick up some games like Ms Pac -Man and such. Is it the rom that is missing that info?

It's either the hash isn't in sselph's huge list, or the game is missing from thegamesdb.net
