    Hi

Getting a little confused about controllers for the RetroPi.

I have an xbox one controller which I've tried to use with RetroPi, it works perfectly but as I still own an xbox one it turns that system on when I turn on the controller and obviously anything I do with the Pi is also replicated on the xbone.

Also, I also own a Wii U (no laughing at the back) and would be interested in getting the Pro controller for the Wii U which I could also use for the Raspberry Pi...I am guessing the same thing would happen as per the XBOX ONE controller.

    Hope someone can help.

    Best

    Andy

@andymb Could you not just pull the mains on your XBox when you're using the Pi?

        Hi Mark

I could, but the back of my xbox one and power supply aren't very accessible so it would be a complete pain.

        Regards

        Andy

@andymb Shame, is there not a setting in the XBox to disable the controller wake feature? I just doubt there's anything you can do on the Pi to resolve this fault other than turning off the XBox or the setting on the XBox.

With a WiiU Pro controller, there are no problems. It is connected via Bluetooth and can only be connected to one device at the same time. Paired with the Raspberry it has no effect on the WiiU anymore.
I use a WiiU Pro controller too for my Arcade Cabinet. No problems with my WiiU.

              Hiya

Thanks for that recommendation, that sounds like just what I need...I've heard it's a great controller too.
