      Hi guys!

I have the chance to have one "Raspberry Pi B", and I like to know if this old model works fine to run the retro pie, therefore can run well the emulation for neo geo, mame... I'm afraid if this model have any problem of slow performance...

      Thanks for your help!

There is a Raspberry Pi 1 B from 2012, a Raspberry Pi 3 B from 2016. There is quite a difference between them. Do you know what version you have?

Nop, they are offering me this versión B but don't tell me more details. I check the specs of 1, 2 and 3 and I can see the diference but just to know if somebody use the first model to use the retro pie and feel works properly.

I believe even the 1b can run RetroPie and emulate older systems. The 3b can emulate the Dreamcast, the N64, the PS1, the PSP, etc. to an extent. But you wouldn't be able to emulate those systems on the 1b.
