Bezles and Overlays
-
I am curious if any work outside of Floobs have been done on bezels and overlays? His program is awesome but doesn't install for every system and is limited to what you have, such as an old school tv for NES. Thanks

Thanks! Now how do I make them work with Retropie?
-
@epicrean The instructions are just below the download links. Just follow them step by step.
-
They are for ouya, bot retropie

@epicrean Launch a game annd when it loads press whatever key / key combo you use on controller or keboard to enter the retroarch menu, also known as the rgui. If you don't know how to get into the Retroarch menu I believe select and B is default or F1 on the keyboard ( or your hotkey enabler plus F1). The instructions are generic from this point.
Edit: select and X -

@columboscoat This simply doesn't work. The options stated don't exisit. I go into settings and it says to pick a directory, ok I go through all the directories and pick the directory. Now what? It says to go to input and set the directory
"Select 'Input Options' in the 'Settings' menu, select your Overlay Preset .cfg file."
going to input doesn't give any options to set overlays.
After experimenting this is what I found,
go into the rgui
go to settings
go to onscreen display
go to on screen overlay
go to overplay preset and change/select nw overlaythis works, bur is gone when I go back into the game.

I have now got the overlays to take but every time I reset the aspect and save config it doesn't take and I need to redo each start

Take a look in the config directory to truly verify if it is saving or not. It likely is, but it is pulling up a different config when you start the emulator.
