    Hello lads,

I am finishing my retro arcade stick project and i have possibility to connect it to both Hdmi and Composite output depending of possible tv usage.

However I think that it would be great if I could make different settings for MAME for both outputs. I mean that when I use RCA then it's fine because RPi will use 4x3 aspect ratio which is perfect for retro gaming and nothing needs to be added but when using HDMI I would like that it will use some additional screen artwork (on sides of screen) and maybe some additional CRT tube effects.
I am pretty sure that it would be possible by writing some scripts depending on output format of the screen it will swap some config files making the proper mame settings. But is there any simpler solution (so I don't have to dig thru whole boot process scripting and writing new config files)?

    Would be grateful for help.
