    Hi!
I'm trying to scape my games using the defaul retropie scraper, but it downloads boxart images.
I'd like to have games screenshots instead boxart. Is this possible with the default scraper?
    And with other scrapers?
Looking at the forum, I found this topic (https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/1952/scraper-script-and-screenshots-instead-of-boxart/4)
but I'm not very familiar with command line and it's not clear to me how to use the scraper command.
How do I specify which emulator i want to scrape? Are all the scraper options mandatory or can I specify only "-use_gdb -gdb_img="s"" to download screenshots?
    Is there an easier way?
    thank you so much

@gepponline some may or may not have screenshots, and they may not be standardised which is why I preferred to make my own screenshots. Though there are a few settings in the built in scraper to pull screenshots instead but that's assuming they have screenshots in their database

The default source (thegamesdb) had great coverage of boxart so that was the default. If you want to do something else you can use something like -console_img="s,b" to use a screen shot if it exists then fall back to box art, etc.

Or you can do as @columboscoat mentioned and you have access to a windows machine you can try UXS. It uses ScreenScraper which is available in my script (-use_gdb=false -use_ss) but it also has some other neat image options.
