I have been playing around with my Raspberry Pi 3 model B and I installed retropie on it. I was able to get Kodi working fine but when I went to install roms from a usb the folders would not auto generate. After hours of trying I reinstalled everything and spotted this error:

      [FAILED] Failed to start usbmount@dev-sda.service.
See 'systemctl status usbmount@dev-sda.service' for details.

After entering that command I got this:

      ● usbmount@dev-sda.service
         Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/usbmount@.service; static)
         Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2017-01-03 00:47:36 UTC; 2min 47s ago
        Process: 453 ExecStart=/usr/share/usbmount/usbmount add (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
       Main PID: 453 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

Any ideas on how to solve this?

      Thanks in advance!

@Mediocre According to this thread, it can be ignored. If roms are not transferring there is another issue. Have you read through this:
        https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Transferring-Roms#transferring-roms
Specifically the file system of your stick should be FAT32?
        and this:

I tried everything that I could find in the forums, and it still wouldn't work.

So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it... works perfectly. Nothing like a good ole fashioned reinstall.

Still don't know what caused the problem though.
