      Hey All,

I know this has been covered a thousand times but thought I would share my thoughts and hopefully get some guidance (Linux Noob here)

I want to hide some options from Emulationstation as I'd rather configure them through code (The text scraper works far better on my connection)

I'm aware of the '--no-exit' command but am unable to get it working, and when following most of the instructions in this thread https://github.com/Aloshi/EmulationStation/issues/518 I'm experiencing either bluetooth not connecting or EmulationStation defaulting to basic controls.

I've tried 'Kid Friendly mode' but it doesn't work with the theme I use and I'm concerned with bugs breaking my setup (Though I do keep SD backups)

Anyone got any further with this? Any ideas to try out?

      Regards,

      General

        Ok, so - UPDATE

I dropped the ideas of re-building the Emulationstation image and instead realized Kid mode works fine with any theme, it's only if you want the extra UI options you need to mess around with custom themes.

My next challenge is to prompt for the password when returning to the terminal via F4.....
