@rietzelucas You need to install the emulators as explained here:
      https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation#installing-additional-emulators--ports

@rbaker Thanks rbaker. Just after posting this I saw the forum post related to that. Just checking it out atm. Thanks for the quick reply!
Any suggestions on how to resolve my first issue?

@rietzelucas try adding an empty "ROM" folder for Kodi and Desktop / Raspbian on the USB. That might fix it. If empty folders don't work copy the folders over from the Pi to the USB. And RetroPie too, of course.

@columboscoat I tried both creating a folder, and copying the existing folders from the RetroPie folder over and they still don't show :S

@rietzelucas Not really as I don't know what customisations you have in place.

@rbaker I am using this triple boot build with OSMC. Outside of that all I've done is update raspbian and retropie to the latest builds.

@rietzelucas So it's now time to post some details on these custom links, config files, what you have done etc?

@rietzelucas we don't provide support for 3rd party images.

@rbaker To my knowledge the only modifications are in the es_systems.cfg file. It has been altered to include a call to a script to boot the pi into a different partition / os. The boot scripts are stored in the roms folder (/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/kodi/Kodi.sh).
Outside of this I don't believe there are any other modifications.

At the moment I have three games on my sd card, and found that when I mount the USB, I lose those games. So my thought is that perhaps the es_systems.cfg file is being overwritten to whatever is on USB, and therefore won't see anything on the SD card?

@herb_fargus It's not a 3rd party image, it's someone's preconfigured noobs setup with 3 partitions: one with Retropie, one with Kodi, and one with Raspbian. It's still the default Retropie image on top of a headless raspbian os. It was done this way so you would have less overhead when running Retropie (rather than having Raspbian with the GUI with both Kodi and Retropie installed and running on it).
