    Retropie 4.1
    Logitech f710

The wireless controller works but in mame games like robotron where it would make the most sense to use the left joystick, it doesn't work. Instead I have to use the keypad above the left joystick. The right joystick for firing works just fine. I tried to go in and configure it in the game itself and it seems like it recognized the left joystick at all. In fact, it looks like it's already configured ok in the games configuration settings but if I try to reconfigure and select the joystick, it doesn't register.

Anyone know how to get that piece of the controller working in mame2003? (mame-libretro)?

Never mind... There's a "mode" switch on the controller that needs to be toggled. Putting it here for posterity.
