How to enable ps3 joystick for nes md and other console emulator

I have succesed in configuring the ps3 controller. It works well, but some libretro emulator (nes, snes, md...) can not operated by the joystick, only cross pad works. For N64, the joystick is active, and MAME4ALL has independent input setting to enable the joystick
I think the driver and configuration works well, the overall configuration ignores the joystick for older console.
How can I use joystick for nes snes md..
