Ultimate Doom from original floppies - problem: not WAD?
-
Oh, boy here we go. I will admit that I am a Newbie with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B ... and RetroPie, but I am learning quickly.
I HAVE been able to get DOOM 2 up and running on my system without a problem... and have already played it for hours without a glitch. I am happy! The tutorial was very easy to follow, and I thank you for that! Plutonia, TNT, and some of the Master Level files were transferred and work perfectly.
Here's the problem: I found my Ultimate Doom floppy disks. (yes the ol' 3.5" inch ones!) I was able to get the files transferred to my computer. The episodes are not WAD file extensions. They have a numeric numbers as the extensions. (they are DOOM_SE.1 , DOOM_SE.2, DOOM_SE.3, DOOM_SE.4, DOOM_SE.5)
What do I need to do to the files so that I can get them to work? Do I need to get put them in a zip file? My first try with putting all the files into a zip cabinet with the p3k did not work. I have already double checked my code and everything checks out. Is there something more sinister that I need to do?
Any help is appreciated (RetroPi, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B)

@Acrylikhan installed Ultimate doom on PC using DosBox to extract wad file. Everything works great... all is correct in this tiny universe here.
