xbox 360 wireless controller not recognized
-
Hi All,
I am having a difficult time getting my pie to recognize my xbox 360 wireless controller. setup is listed below. I have read through multiple forum topics and tried several tutorials on the web with no luck. I must be missing something but not sure what. I can load retropie, connect the keyboard, update packages, SSH via wifi etc...what I cant seem to do is get the controller to be recognized so I can configure it. I have tried using the xbox driver and the xpad driver. I think Im getting a good pair with the adapter, I press the button on the adapter and it flashes, then pair the controller with the tiny button. The lights move it circles, then the light on the adapter turns solid and the lights on the controller just blink (all 4). Tried testing the controller with jstest in the terminal and it doesn't respond. Also ran a lsusb command and it shows the adapter connected to the usb port. do I need to configure anything in retroarch? What should I try next?
I have tried tutorials listed below:

I tried connecting the wireless adapter to the computer first with no luck on windows 10 and 7. I am returning the adapter and going with an xbox 360 wired controlled instead....
