So I just got a Raspberry Pi and installed RetroPie on it. I used the USB method to install 5 Nintendo roms (or so I think...). I've connected my Raspberry Pi to my wifi and went into it and into the roms directory and went to NES and I can see them there. But I don't see anything on the basic emulation station page except for options and config. Can anyone help?

Also, like the title says, I know nothing about Raspberry Pi, my dad brought it over and installed the software on it for me

      CanaKit USB-C Power Supply
      RetroPie 4.7.21
Built From pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      PS4 Controller

@Kojiro You might do better to speak to your dad then as we can't really advise without more information (see the link at the top - Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first)

Did you restart Emulation Station ?

Did you check out the documentation - eg https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/nintendo-entertainment-system has useful information

        Also check https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation

@BuZz hey Buzz, I read the read me, and I've followed those directions (I believe), restarted ES, but I don't see anything. My dad spent about 20 minutes trying to figure it out, but I guess he's not savvy enough.

@BuZz how do I tell the difference between a Pi model B or B+? It has Bluetooth and Wifi built in

@Kojiro that would be a RPI3. Please provide me with details of an example filename of a file you copied, where you copied it, and what you did etc.

@BuZz I used the USB method where I took a USB drive and put a RetroPie directory on it, then put in the raspberry Pi and let it do its thing, then put the drive back on my pc and copied supermariobros.nes to the new roms directory in the NES subfolder.

@BuZz put it back in the Pi, waited for a bit, then rebooted the Pi and emulation station. Still nothing

@Kojiro Have you changed any Emulation Station settings ? eg what is "Parse gamelists only" set to ? (in the other settings menu).

@BuZz damn it! That's what happened! My dad changed the parse thing, I knew I shouldn't have let him screw around in the menus! Thank you Buzz!

@BuZz hey Buzz, thank you again for the help! I've already added about 60 games and scraped them. I'm afraid my memory stick may be too small, if I were to simply copy everything from my current stick over to a larger stick, would it retain all the scraped info and games and settings?
