Problem for config my juyao controller
-
Hi, I am a student who creates his 1st arcade and I have a problem for several weeks with it so I finally decided to seek help because the creation of my bartop really holds my heart.
I use a raspberry pi 2B and the JUYAO controller, my problem is I succed to config my 2 players in the menu of retropie ( I can move) but when i go into a game nothing work.
I try like everything but its impossible to config it in retroarch.
Pliz Help me . Thanks -
@gautchh When you configure input for a joystick in emulationstation it creates a config file and save it at
/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/
. Is there some file in this directory? -

@gautchh remove all the files/subfolders in that folder (somehow you have extra configurations - did you download/install some auto config files there?) and then reconfigure the controller in emulationstation.

@gautchh Attach and config a keyboard in ES, go into the emulator of your choice and enter the rgui menu. There you can navigate to Settings, Input and configure your controller. Make sure the right controller-device is selected and try bind all.
If your controllername does not show up increase the number of players (or devices) under Input and try again.
Another way to get your controller working properly is using xboxdrv, which emulates an xbox controller and makes mapping it in games easier.
