Apple II with dsk images not showing up
-
Hi everyone,
First, thanks much for this awesome program. Reliving my childhood.
I have been able after hours of work to gete my Retropie setup exactly as I want with the exception of Apple II. I tried installing the linapple program by source and binary, updated the retropie script and rebooted, and it still will not show up with the other systems. Dsk images are placed in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/apple2/. Any idea? Thanks much

I've also put the apple ii rom in the bios with no change

@Gyro you need to open the file /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg and copy the apple 2 section and paste it in /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg then restart emulationstation. or you can copy it from here or manually enter this into the second location i posted
<system> <name>apple2</name> <fullname>Apple II</fullname> <path>/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/apple2</path> <extension>.sh .SH .dsk .DSK .do .bin .nib .po</extension> <command>/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 _SYS_ apple2 %ROM%</command> <platform>apple2</platform> <theme>apple2</theme> </system>
