Ubuntu 16.04 LTS x86 Flavor

1: Retroarch in emulationstation do not keep settings for me so I need to know a working hotkey on keyboard for the quick-meny. Tried f1 and a bunch more keys but no go also tried gamepad and ps3 controller and same there...

2: Is there any similar raspi-config in retropie X86 flavor version?
