      Hi, I'm trying to set up attract mode with retropie. I can't seem to get Mame4all to work.

      When I try and launch mame a black screen with code flashes and disappears.

      Can someone tell me what I should put for these:

      Executable
      Command arguments
      Snap
      Wheel

      I can see my full rom list but I can't play any of them. I am using a Raspberrypi 3.

      Thanks in advance!

        What image are you using or did you compile your own. Need to know if your using the X version or the non X, it takes different exe and arg to run.

          Assuming you are running a non-X version of AM, here is the emulator file

              @Floob
              I'm very new so by non x do you mean I start it without Xinit? The way I start it is by quitting emulation station and typing attract.

                  Have you built your own Attract Mode setup? If so, if it runs by just typing "attract" then yes, that file I linked to above should work.

                  X allows programs to use a certain GUI method:
                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_Window_System

                  This is what Attract Mode used to require, but now it can be run with or without X. xinit starts X.

                  Please read the Docs before asking a new question.
