Has anyone managed to get CD PC Engine games to work in RetroPie?. I have them working fine on Retroarch on Windows 10 and have copied the same files (BIOS and game iso's) and placed them in the correct folder (/home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/syscard3.pce)but when i go and load the game it just resets back to Emulation Station.

      Any help please?

The BIOS goes where you said. The game files (.bin and .cue) go in the pcengine roms folder.

Yeah thats where they are placed. The 'syscart3.pce' is in '/home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/' and 'Castlevania X.cue' and 'Castlevania X.bin' are in '/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pcengine'.

I load the game get a black screen with the windows in the middle saying 'press a button for configure' and then just goes back to Emulation Station. As i said these exact same files work with RetroArch on Window 10, so i know its not an issue with the files themselves

I've gotten it to work. Check if the cue file has the same name in the text as the file name you are using.

Ah that was the issue, thank you!

The bios file needs to be in the pcengine folder too. Works fine when I try it.

Or maybe not, since you got it working without that.

A bad name in the CUE file has bitten me in the past. I often forget that the name has to match the BIN file, and it's case sensitive on Linux.
