      My God, what a formidable skill set on display here, including an incredible good taste. I'm awed by the video, just a little sad you didn't show it in action :)

          @DIY.Engineering Fantastic!

          argh!

          TAKE MY MONEY!!.

          Gone for fully assembled - My software skills are a lot better than my hardware ones.

          How accessible is the sdcard for a fully assembled device ? Just take off front screws ? I guess it would be handy to have the sdcard accessible somehow - for example via an extension cable.

          Note that the RetroPie premade image isn't allowed to be included due to licensing restrictions of some of the emulators. I recommend if the sdcard slot is not easily accessible, to do an image of RetroPie but remove all the emulators. They can be added back manually via retropie-setup by the user one they have their unit (although this would require a network connection via the usb slot or wifi if using pi zero w)

                Kickstarter is cancelled - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/diyengineering/the-ultimate-retropie-handheld/posts/1823554

                @DIY-Engineering Please can you get back to me regarding RetroPie (see my comments above). I commented on the kickstarter too a few days ago (as a backer), and got no reply.

                    @HurricaneFan He was never going to raise the money he needed from Kickstarter. It's a really cool enclosure but incredibly high-end and dare I say it... over-engineered. It's a classy object but you have many better options if you are willing to drop that amount on a Pi Zero in a fancy case.

                      @BuZz just read this in its entirety, I apologize for the licensing violation. I will provide instructions rather than an image with the kits. sorry about that!
