No Configuration files in retroarch-joypads
-
Hi All,
This is my first attempt with RetroPie and I am having issues with the joypad configuration. I am using wireless XBOX360 controllers and have installed them and I am able to go through the configuration process with them. however, when I start a ROM none of the buttons work. after much searching i think I may have figured out what is the cause of the issue but I have no idea how to resolve the issue.
it seems that RetroPie is not generating a config file after the joypad configuration is complete. so every time I start RetroPie it asks me to configure my controllers all over again, and i keep getting a configuration not found error whenever I start a ROM.
If anyone has come across this issue before, and knows how to resolve it please let me know.

Hi, just downloaded 3.7, loaded and ran it, got to CONFIGURING... at the end the OK button does nothing. No config file is written to /opt/retropie/configs/all/retro-arch-joypads. I tried to just configure keyboard keys. So then I ran retropie-setup but it also failed to write a config file
I changed the permissions on the folder but that didn't help.
Any ideas please

WayneAt the end of the config screen when your on the OK you would hit your "A" button to confirm. Wait 5 or so sec and it will write the config file.

Please post the contents of the files in
/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation
(via pastebin.com or similar)
