      Hey all.

      Running retropie 4.2.2 on RP3.
      Following some tutorials like those:

      https://howchoo.com/g/ytzjyzy4m2e/build-a-simple-raspberry-pi-led-power-status-indicator
I connected a LED to pin 8 (GPIO14 UART0_TXD) and to a ground pin and enabled serial via raspi-config.
The LED lights upon every boot, but turns off permanently after a second or two.

Has there been some change lately in this area?

      Thanks.
