      RPi Model B
      4.2.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website retropie-4.2-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz
USB Devices connected: Wireless Keyboard, XBox wired controller
Error messages received: Could not install package(s): Policykit-1
      Guide used: Kodi Install guide
How to replicate the problem: After installing RetroPie and updating programs, I tried to install Kodi from Optional Package, won't install comes up with this error. Installed RetroPie on another Micro SD, same error occurred when trying to install Kodi.

Am new to RetroPie, and all my Roms work fine! Was hoping to get Kodi on there as well. I searched the forums and didn't find anything about this error message. Any lay person work arounds?

i'm having the same issue. I'm connected to WiFi and all other optional packages install fine. Updated all my packages just in case, which unfortunately didn't alleviate the issue either. Have you made any progress?

It's likely a dependency issue with your package database or network issue but cannot help without the log.
