Running the latest version of retropie with Kodi 17.1

I am trying to use a MySQL database to centralise my Kodi media libraries and make it accessible from more than one Kodi device. I've found a good how to but I'm having trouble finding my user data folder for Kodi

I think I know where it's located but I'm hitting a permission error accessing the folder via winSCP. Any idea on how to circumvent this?

It is in /home/pi/.kodi which maybe a symlink to /opt/retropie/configs/ports/kodi

Perfect. This is exactly where it was. I also had to make hidden files visible.
