      That is defenitely possible! Download the "pixel" or "pixel-ttf" (don't know witch one it was...) and look into the corresponding xml files. Than change the corresponding xml files of the "carbon" theme as you like...

      I looked into the files a bit. So what you have to do:

      Open the pixel.xml in the root of the pixel theme folder. Than look for

      <text name="System_Desc" extra="true">

      and copy those 2 sections.
      Open the carbon-xml in the root of the carbon theme folder. Scroll down to

      <view name="detailed, video">
      than <text name="md_description"> and replace that with the copied sections

      Last step:
      Open both root folders in 2 windows and open the same emulator folder in each window.
      Than open the theme.xml of the pixel theme, scroll all the way down and copy the

      <text name="System_Desc" extra="true">

      section into the

      <view name="basic, detailed, video">

      section of the carbon theme.xml and change the text between

      <text> and </text>

      to whatever you like.

      There you have it, if it isn't working tell me and I will find some time to do it for you...

        Hello,

        Thanks a lot for your help:

        https://github.com/RetroPie/es-theme-pixel

        Is this the one you told me to download?

        To be honest I tried to do it but without success, if you could give me a hand about this, it will be great.

        Thanks!

          Yeah that is the one...
          I will look at it as soon as my raspberry finished scraping some roms and send you a (hopefully :P) working modified version of the carbon theme... I will use the console info text of the pixel theme and tell you were to edit the text.

              @pindapoe Do you want any metadata or just the picture and the description?

                  Ok I finished and tested it!

                  I have made it for both cases (with metadata ("Custom Carbon") and without("Custom Carbon Nometa")).
                  The only thing you have to keep in mind is that it only shows up if you scraped the roms (doesn't matter if there are images or not, but you need a created gamelist.xml)!

                  Here is the download link, it includes the two cases and some "step" images (how you change the text for a system):

                  https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B438GldzjmUTUzFUOUZNalJjNUU

                  And some instructions:

                  1. Unzip the zip archive of the theme you want
                  2. Connect to your raspberry via WinSCP or something similar
                  3. Copy the theme folder (with all files in it) into /opt/retropie/config/all/emulationstation/themes
                    (if the themes folder doesn't exist, create it)
                  4. Restart emulationstation
                  5. Select "Custom Carbon" / "Custom Carbon Nometa" in Menu/UI Settings
                  6. Press back and wait for it to load

                  There you go!

                  If you want some more changes simply reply :)

                        @pindapoe Glad to hear that :)
                        I just changed a name and added the game informations (took some time)... No big deal ;-)
                        If you want to change them, I added a "guide"
