Hey, I'm trying to get the current AdvMAME working, but it's not recognizing my (SNES, Buffalo) gamepad. (The pad works fine in the UI and in all of the Retroarch cores.) I notice that the .rc file for that one is much shorter than the previous two AdvMAMEs, so I'm wondering if it's just missing the necessary entries to check.

Is there an easy way to get it to detect my pad? I'm totally comfortable configuring it once I do, but I just need it detected and Select + Start to exit.

      Thanks!

I was just tussling with this again, and still having the same problem, and forgot that I posted to ask about this already, and was just researching to see if anyone else had the problem, so I'm bumping this.

Any ideas? It's whatever the most recent AdvMAME is (3?)

So I got it solved: it appears that the rights were different on the .rc file for AdvMame 3.x (it was owned by root and not pi) so I fixed that and copied over the input map entries from one of the earlier versions' .rc file and now everything appears to be working. :)
