      I always have to update the sound_latency 0.05 setting because updating overwrites this back to sound_latency 0.2 which is noticeably delayed. Also, a couple of the dir paths got reset. I point my dir_artwork and dir_sample to locations in /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/mame-advmame/ because it is easier for me to manage them next to the mame2003 folder. Anyway, these get reset too.

        I have modified the configure script for advancemame to avoid this. In general configs are not overwritten, but there may be a few cases we missed with older emulators.
