I know this is an insanely common problem, but I have been unable to find a fix for my issue. Almost all of the fixes I have tried are for older versions of Retropie.

      Pi Model: 3 Model B
      RetroPie Version Used: 3.6.0
      Built From: SD Image
      USB Devices connected: Keyboard, controller(s)
Controller used: SNES USB (specifically these)
Error messages received: When I try to map the controls in RGUI, I get "./retroarch-joyconfig command not found" when trying to "Save New Config".
Guide used: I've tried to follow a lot of different guides, but all of them are old enough that at some point I am unable to use it.

seemed very helpful until I got to "Register RetroArch Controller", which no longer exists in RetroPie 3.6.
      File: /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
Emulator: I haven't played around with much besides Nestopia, but all the problems I've had have been in there. Super Mario Kart for the SNES works fine.
      Attachment of config files

      Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

@herb_fargus Much appreciated. All those menus look familiar. I'll try that - handy to know that I can have custom configs for each rom. Thanks!
