Whats up everyone. Raspberry Pi 3, RetroPie 3.8. I've got ScummVM all installed and working no problem so I decided to try ResidualVM for Grim Fandango and Escape From Monkey Island. Before installing the full games from my pc, I used both demo versions from the Residual webpage to see how well it works. Same install as ScummVM, got them loaded in the gui and both showing in emulationstation. Only problem is they will not load directly from emulationstation. They will only load if I load up the +Start ResidualVM, then into the gui and then select and launch the game.
Anyone else using this emulator and have this issue? Or a fix?
      Thanks

I had the same problem, solved it by pressing button x while the game is loading (to launch the configuration options), and changing emulator from "residualvm" to "residualvm-software". I also changed the resolution and 640x480 in all other configurations.

Hey thanks! I'll give that a spin tomorrow, I totally gave up on it since I could never get it sorted.
