[SOLVED] Inverting controllers
-
Hi,
I am making a Raspberry Playstation, and in order to have the original controller, I bought one of thoses on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PS1-PS2-PSX-to-PC-USB-Dual-Controller-Adapter-Converter-/170854914674?hash=item27c7bf1a72:g:oI0AAOxy4dNS-SNJ
I cracked it open and unsoldered the original plugs, and I soldered the ones from the PSX like so:
But doing so, I made that the first port is recognized as 2nd controller, and the second port as the first controller..
The gamepad converter is one usb port that can handle 2 controllers, they are both recognized as one gamepad but two controllers on windows...
Any idea on how I can change this on retropie ? Curently, even if I do the gamepad configuration on the first port, I need to plug it in the second to get it working as first controller. I would like to do it without desoledring everything...
I took a look at config files but nothing seemed relevant..

I use this very same adapter!
Well, I know how to do what you want for RetroArch. You just have to change the input_playerN_joypad_index in retroarch.cfg file. If you want an user-friendly way to that, take a look at https://github.com/meleu/retropie-input-selection
