      Hi all,

I have recently bought myself a Pi3 model B. I have it set up in a foundation case with a 5V 2.5A power supply, 16GB Toshiba Exceria Micro SD and heatsinks. Using retropie 4.2 image downloaded from this site and I updated all packages yesterday, which said that everything updated, I saw no errors. No overclock

I have been loving it so far, easy to setup but there is alot to play around with if you want to.

My questions are regarding Bluetooth and lr-pcsx-rearmed enhanced resolution.

First the Bluetooth, I have 2 PS3 controllers connected atm with the Sixad drivers installed and they are working great but I don't like the soft feeling of the buttons. I just bought a 8bitdo FC30 controller and I have been reading that these won't hook up with ps3 controllers because of the bluetooth stack being replaced (I think I have that right) but this seems to be mostly older information and I can't see if anything has changed with recent updates.

Also I was wondering if I got a bluetooth dongle and disable the onboard would that take some stress off the pi or would I see no benefit from it?

My other problem is if I turn on enhanced resolution in lr-pcsx-rearmed with or without the speed hack my pi freezes playing games. Tony Hawk 2 only lasted a few minutes but Um Jammer Lammy lasted over an hour and then froze when I tried to hold select+start to quit. I have seen heaps of people online not having any trouble turning this setting on, There are no temperature warnings or low power warnings and the games run perfect until they just stop and I have to pull the plug. I am going to try playing with a wired controller today to see if it is the bluetooth causing problems (also coming back to the first question about whether a dongle may help)
I don't know if it is a software problem, something with the recent update or my controllers or something I don't know enough to think about

Thanks for any help you can offer

Ok so I just played for a couple of hours with no freezes at all using the same PS3 controller but wired instead of Bluetooth, looks like that might be my problem, but I thought the PS3 bluetooth freezes were fixed unless I have missed a step or done something wrong
