Gameboy Advance games refuse to save with the latest version. However I looked on the forums, and this bug has been going on since 3.0 (at least). I was playing Hi Hi PUFFY AmiYumi: Kaznapped, and between levels it states "auto-saving... please do not turn off console". So it saves it automatically. Once I quit the game (inside the rom), and then hit select + start to go back to Retropie & then shutdown the console... Then turn it back on. The emulator will not read the saved data files. So I have to restart the game all over again. The files are there, and being written correctly. The ROM, emulator, and system shuts down properly. However it makes me restart my progress every single time. Are there BIOS files I am missing for the GBA emulator that could fix this issue? I got BIOS files for NDS, and I keep hearing that GBA needs a BIOS file too. Could that be my issue?

before you all ask... 3 amp power supply (because contrary to Raspberry Pi's requirements 2.5 amps is not enough for anybody hence the lightning bolt in the corner for most people) 1200MHz overclock speed, and both heatsinks & fans cooling it.
