@SonPluck did you install anything else?

I'm struggling to understand what may be the problem.

Are your Roms being stored in the SD card as well?

Could you confirm that after you copy them, when you go to the console and inspect the folders with

        ls

That the contents are there? And when you exit EmulationStation to the terminal (f4) are they removed? What if instead of exciting you restart EmulationStation, do they also disappear?

@pjft I'll try that when I get home, but yea only when I reset the pi.

@pjft Confirmed, my ps1 (and other games) are literally being deleted off my sd card when I reset the pi BUT when I reset emulation station, the game shows up and works.

@SonPluck Sounds like a corrupted or infected sd card. Have tried a fresh reformat then re-flashed the sd card (or try another card)? Games not saving can be 1 of 2 things, either permission issues or due to the same reason the games are being delete.

If the card is failing/infected, it's going to fail whether or not you flash it again. Try with another sdcard and see if the effects are the same. Also which sd card are you using?

@Omnija Silicon Power 64G Classic edition, works well though I had to re-image a while back, but now im having these problems.

PS. Had to re-image the card because I failed the first write.
