System Carousel Logo Colouring Issue
-
I'm trying to make a theme that uses nothing but white images so that every part of the theme can be recoloured. To that end, I've made some white logos for use in the carousel, and on the various Basic/Detailed/Video Views.
You can recolour the logos simply enough:
<image name="logo"> <path>./logo.png</path> <color>FF0000FF</color> </image>
This turns the white logo red (I'll just use this as a simple example to get my point across). The logo will display as red on the various Basic/Detailed/Video Views. It will also display as red when it's the selected item in the carousel, but when it's not selected it will revert to it's base white colour.
Is there a way to get the logo to display as red when it isn't the selected carousel item?

@mattrixk Currently it is not supported. Not sure why. I have it implemented in a branch with some other carousel changes that I need to get around to cleaning up and submitting some time soon.

@jdrassa: Thanks for the info mate. Oddly enough, those logos are actually white, but something is making them a light grey.

@mattrixk
I think they are rendered slightly transparent. -
@Zigurana That would explain it.

@mattrixk This should be supported in the latest version. I added it as part of the theme variables update.

@jdrassa Sweet. I'm in the middle of custom creating my PSP and PSX gamelists and mix images (scraping them has been unsatisfactory, so I'm getting images and data from half a dozen different sources and putting them together). It's time consuming, but once I'm done I'll be able to get back into RetroPie stuff.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
