I have 2 aimtrack lightguns, I use them with advmame 3.4

They work quite well even if some games works better than others. Yesterday, while my friends were playing, the guns stopped working and now I have a strage behavior: the guns seem to have a delay when I point to the screen; the cursor moves very slow to a point (which is not the one I'm pointing to). Same behavior for both guns.

In retropie application Gunconf I can set them as usually, they work well in calibration mode, so I guess It's a mame/retroarch problem..
      Any hint?

Your setup might give some clues. It is strange that everything was working and not now. Be sure to fill out all the required information listed at https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. Also, please detail the conditions in play when the guns stopped working and what you did to get them working again.

problem solved: someone switched from advmame 3.4 to advmame 1.4

the problem is when you start a game, moving the gun triggers the retroarch menu where you can change the default emulator, is there a way to avoid this?

You can disable the Runcommand launch menu.

@mediamogul i prefer to set it to use a keyboard only. That way someone can still change it if they need to.

Nice. That's a great middle ground solution.
