Ive been stuck on the the Disk Imaging section my RetroPie and I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I followed the instructions but everytime the image file is applied to the SD Card, I get a window on my screen asking telling me I have to format the SD Card before using it and I've been stuck here for hours now... Someone please help me

@SwirlyCub its because it cant read the linux partition and only reads the boot partition. Ignore what windows is telling you.

@SwirlyCub The format used for retropie is a Linux propitary format. Windows will not recognize it and may ask you to reformat. Try putting the card into a pi and see if it boots. If not, something is probably bad with the card.

@lostless Don't you tell me you just put Linux and proprietary in the same sentence ? :)

@SwirlyCub You will have a better learning experience to start reading the Retropie documentation: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/

@Sano you got me. I'm trying to keep in simple for ones that don't know what's going on. :)
