Subject explains it all. I have tried removing the roms and redoing it three times. Even re-installed the emulator binaries. After the mass add and a restart they show up like you would expect in the Emulationstation rom list. However if you click on one it will just kick you back to the menu. If you go into ScummVM and select your game from the emulator's rom list it will work everytime. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This sounds like a problem that was fixed in RetroPie 3.8.1 - it would be better to list the version rather than saying "latest" - what version does your retropie-setup script say ? what is the output of

        cat /opt/retropie/configs/scummvm/emulators.cfg

I will have to check when I get back from the office. I installed the latest on the site as of the 27th of May. So it looks like I just missed 3.8.1. How can I patch that without starting over? Almost got the whole thing perfect and was gonna make a backup of the image tonight for safety. Thx.

I assume update the setup script and then run Binary Based Installation? Will that hose my setup?

Also is there a way to update ScummVm without risking the update to 3.8.1?

Either get the 3.8.1 image, or update RetroPie-Setup to get the very latest code, and install/update scummvm from Packages. (Or update all installed packages).

Thx. Figured it out and just updated ScummVM. Hopefully that didn't introduce any issues elsewhere. Thx
