      So just for giggles I installed Kodi today from the Retropie setup. It installed, shows up in ports, and does nothing. :) When I launch it, I get a black screen, a bloop or beep, then nothing....I have to shutdown from command line.

      I'm running this on a Raspi3 with the latest updates of everything - I updated the Retropie, the raspbian, and the Kodi to the latest. No effect. Black screen. Can't go back to Emulation Station. And I'm not using a PS3 controller, I'm using a Buffalo Station SNES-style controller.
