This is a really great list, especially all the Sierra classic adventure ones. I suppose they're not quite suited for my RetroPie setup (requiring a mouse) but I'll check them out anyway for a future project or for playing on my laptop/desktop.

        Thanks!

@pjft i play dos games on my pi more than anything else. I have bought soooo many dos games in the last couple months. Even though i own all the sierra games that are available on gog on cd's i am going to still buy them on gog. Everything is so much cheaper on gog than buying the games on ebay. Even though i will be buying everything i can on gog i still will still buy dos cd's and floppies too. On cd i still need/want the wolfenstein engine games, and the quake games. Then its just a game here and there if i find something i want

@spruce_m00se dosbox. When you install it on your pc it has dosbox files setup for it. I can help you set it up for the pi.

@spruce_m00se as long as they are dos versions of the games you can use dosbox. There is a retropie dosbox wiki but i can help you a lot to speed up the process.

@exarkuniv red alert and CnC went slow on original hardware and run slow on my i7 with 16gb of ram, they were just coded badly, or had coding limits, thts part of the fun of multiplayer, you storm them with so many units that it slows down, then they dont know what to do since they are used to certain reaction speeds. it throws people off

@afunnyname dos means disk operating system. Ms-dos is what microsoft used before windows. When you see a command line screen, that is what dos was like. If you have windows on your computer sometimes you have to bring up the dos prompt to do something in command line. That is what dos was. No gui. Windows 3.1x is an operating system running on dos.
