          There is no better baseball game in history than Baseball Stars.. so far ahead of its times with signing players, having to upgrade them etc through play... insane fun

            Pretty sure I figured it out. Bases loaded 3 license to steal. I found this screen shot. I've been playing it non stop now and haven't made it happen yet. I didn't realize how bad this game was. After I finally see the out of the park home run I'm going back to Griffey. link text

              @chadz try out baseball stars. Also the neo geo arcade of baseball stars is really freaking cool.

                Curiously, I find that, as far as playability is concerned, most of the NES baseball games were better than their SNES sequels. Just IMO, but Bases Loaded, RBI Baseball, and Baseball Simulator 1.000 all have great control on NES, but dodgy controls and other issues in their "super" incarnations.
